Description

This scarred chestpiece was fashioned from the ablative exterior plating of your crashed ship. The composite of heat-blackened alloy and fused carbon mesh, still bears impact scarring from micrometeoroids and atmospheric reentry. This armour isn't elegant or comfortable, but it is almost indestructible, capable of shrugging off all but the heaviest impacts.
