The augur roll resolves any action whose outcome is in doubt.
How to roll
- Build a pool of dice equal to the relevant asset rating.
- Roll the pool and read it against the current tension threshold.
- Compare your highest die:
| Result | Outcome |
|---|---|
| Above threshold | Success — you get what you want. |
| Equal | Partial — success with a cost; tension rises. |
| Below | Setback — the Guide makes a move. |
